SIA Security Courses

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) was created in 2001, and is the organisation responsible for ensuring there are high standards in private security across the UK. If you work in security, you must have an SIA licence. Some common jobs in the security industry include:

  • Security Guard
  • Door supervisor
  • CCTV Operator


It’s a legal requirement to have an SIA licence if you work in any of these fields. It means that you’re properly trained and have the right qualifications to do your job.

First Aid Courses

The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide first aid in voluntary and community activities.

Due to the SIA’s 2019 review it is now mandatory for all students wishing to obtain their SIA license to have first completed the Emergency First Aid at Work course. We have a discounted add on day for those who do not have this qualification already and want to complete their SIA training.
